TEXStyle 2024

TEXStyle is the annual showcase of excellence in HSC Textiles and Design. Gallery76 is delighted to host this exhibition for a third year. It features over 30 exemplary Major Textiles Projects submitted by HSC students across NSW, including furnishings, apparel, textile art and costume.

Free entry during regular gallery hours. Additionally, a comprehensive offering of excursions is offered to high schools; see our website for more details.

The brand new 10km Mosman Art Trail features landmarks that have inspired generations of artists, including Arthur Streeton, Margaret Preston, Susan Rothwell and Jasper Knight. With accompanying reproductions of artworks at various sites on the walk, it’s a chance to reflect how artists interpret the landscape.

“Think about the women who made this”: A Century of Quilts examines our material culture

In 1841, the women aboard a British convict ship crafted a large-scale quilt known as ‘The Rajah quilt’. It’s one the most requested items from the National Gallery of Australia’s collection—and it’s now showing alongside a further 21 quilts, many crafted by women.

It is unexpected and oddly refreshing to see Andy Warhol in a regional Australian art gallery

Until 2026, Wanneroo Regional Art Gallery will be showing 53 original artworks by one of the most famous artists of the 20th century: Andy Warhol. Andy Warhol ICONS includes famous works such as Elvis (1963), Campbell’s Soup Cans (1968) and Marilyn (1967).
