MAGMA

MAGMA is a Melbourne based contemporary art program. It is a gallery and dynamic platform for the promotion and exhibition of the visual arts in Australia. Situated in an iconic architectural setting, originally designed by renowned architect Tom Kovac, the Collingwood space is respected for producing impactful exhibition presentations and offers a cross cultural, multi disciplinary presentation of art.

Established in 2016, MAGMA exhibits and represents leading artists throughout the Asia Pacific region. MAGMA is respected for working with a deep commitment to artists, to support new works, foster careers and build opportunities outside the gallery setting. In addition to a dedicated exhibition program, the gallery participates in art fairs, commissioning, commercial projects, site specific art presentations as well as public art projects.
