Edwina Cooper

West Space Window

In this exhibition Edwina Cooper presents new work in the West Space Window across July and August. Cooper’s practice is driven by environmental science and artistic technology, centering on the ways that water forms boundaries of culture and politics. Cooper’s Window will look to bring oceanic knowledge from the field of science ‘ashore’, quantifying the ‘invisible’ for human comprehension through material research. The resulting sculptural work will highlight current oceanic concerns, to make sense of our rapidly changing environmental context.
