Play

Play is a voluntary, imaginative act sparked by curiosity and joy. It can be structured or spontaneous, shared or solitary, but it always involves exploration and a sense of possibility. Presented by the Lateral Stitchers group of embroidery and textile artists, the exhibition features finished artworks as well as providing insights into the playing that artists do with ideas, forms and materials until something feels ‘right.’ Workshop available – Construct and Develop a Journal with Barbara Dawson, 9 August.
