Originally opened in 1981 by ceramicist Frances West and Marcia Schofield, Weswal Gallery maintains a reputation as a fine art gallery specialising in showcasing works from emerging to established local, regional and national contemporary Australian artists.  Kate is passionate about supporting opportunities for artists and designers, and aims to continue to cultivate Weswal Gallery’s reputation as a premier cultural destination in the New England.

With full street frontage and easy parking,  the gallery offers a large bright and open planned exhibition space that changes shows every three weeks. The gallery Design Store stocks a selective range of Australian made artisan products including ceramics, glass, wood, jewellery and homewares.

Situated at the top of Brisbane Street, the gallery is just 2 minutes drive from Tamworth CBD.
