Silver Leaf Art Box

Silver Leaf Art Box is a contemporary art space situated on ten acres in a rural setting at Merricks, Mornington Peninsula, an hour’s drive from Melbourne. Directed by Penelope Gebhardt, the gallery was established in 2016 and seeks to support and cultivate contemporary art practice. A step away from the white cube gallery format, the internal space is distinctive in its domestic tone and scale. Art Box presents works across a diverse range of disciplines by both established and emerging artists, with a particular emphasis on local practitioners. Public workshops also form part of the program.
