Five Walls is an independent commercial art gallery located on the first floor of a converted mid-century shopping/office arcade in Footscray, Melbourne’s inner western suburb.
Five Walls presents an annual program with a particular focus on artists working in Abstraction, Non-Objective and Reductive art. Their aim is to foster inter-connectivity between artists, collectors, institutions and the community in a positive and constructive way. To facilitate this, in early 2024 they established a small stable of represented artists, with plans for continued expansion in the future.
Co-Directed by Misuzu (Missy) Ueda and Aaron Martin, Five Walls Gallery & Projects is dedicated to cultivating a vibrant and inclusive artistic community.
