City of Perth Council House Gallery

Council House opened in 1963 and is considered one of the best examples of modernist architecture in Australia. The ground floor provides a welcoming and elegant space and had been used for the display of art and cultural heritage since 1999. It went through a hiatus but has recently been reactivated.

250 square metre space on the ground floor of one of Australia’s finest modernist buildings, Council House, has begun a lively program of exhibitions not to be missed.
