Bayley Arts is a community art space located in the Bayside area of Melbourne. The building boasts four purpose-built art studios and a professional art gallery with an aim to build social inclusion and opportunities for artists of all abilities.
The venue opened to the public in September 2023 and is an initiative of Bayley House, an organisation that specialises in supporting adults with intellectual disability live a full, rich and rewarding life. During the day our studios offer a wide range of art programs to people with disability and supports these artists with professional development, opportunities through exhibitions and the sale of their artworks.
The Gallery program includes collaborative and innovative projects with established artists alongside Bayley Artists creating a dynamic and unique dialogue in the contemporary arts and encourages applications from emerging artists and art groups of all abilities.
Bayley Arts is open to the public on weeknights and weekends offering a range of art classes and workshops in textiles, printmaking and mixed media and is available for hire for a variety of purposes including art exhibitions, product launches, or corporate hire.
