Women of Yuendumu is a powerful exhibition of Aboriginal paintings celebrating the vibrant artistry and cultural legacy of prominent female artists from Yuendumu, a remote Aboriginal community 293km northwest of Alice Springs in Central Australia.
Showcasing bold, expressive artworks rich in colour and storytelling, the exhibition captures the deep spiritual and ancestral connections of Warlpiri women to their land and Dreamings.
Artworks reflecting traditions passed through generations, reinterpreted with striking contemporary flair.
Artists featured include Dorothy Napangardi, Judy Watson Napangardi, Liddy Walker Napanangka, Eunice Napangardi and Margaret Lewis Napangardi.
