Thresholds

Any in-between place marks a liminal terrain – it is a threshold. It represents edges and initiation, change and conception. What we seek most from an aesthetic experience of Art is the potential for it to change our understanding, for illumination and insight – for an awakening.

For this project Art is our tour guide to new visual experiences. Thresholds is a group exhibition of over thirty artists. Painting, photography and installation practice are particularly strong in the selection of works being prepared for exhibition.
