The Invisible Line: Stories, Legends & Past Connections

The Invisible Line invites audiences to discover the profound yet often unseen connections that continue to influence and enrich the relationship between Australia and Papua New Guinea – connections that remain as vital today as they were generations ago. Central to the exhibition are new artworks born from an artist exchange program conducted in Port Moresby earlier this year. These pieces embody the living, breathing nature of Austronesian-Melanesian relationships, offering fresh insights into how artists from both cultures interpret and respond to their shared experiences.
