Seasons of the High Country

My continued fascination of the Australian High Country is the inspiration for this new body of work ‘…seasons of the High Country’. I’ve been documenting this unique landscape across the seasons for over 20 years – from the summer wildflowers to the winter snow. I feel a deep sense of calm in the High Country and my connection to this landscape deepens with each passing season.

My interpretation of the landscape is expressed with joyous energy – full of movement, it’s a felt emotion. Subtle vibrations in colour, drawn from the landscape keeps the surface active to reflect natures complexity.
