Ritual Eternal

Curated by Cūrā8 (Kim Donaldson and Sean Lowry), featuring Veronika Hauer and Katie Lee, Alicia King, Fu Xiaodong, Karina Utomo, Treahna Hamm, Lai Yin, Mao Chenyu, Noriko Nakamura, Sorcha McKenzie and Tristan Liao. Ritual Eternal brings together artists whose practices engage with ways of knowing, perceiving and experiencing the world that sit outside prevalent cultural language systems and epistemologies. Drawing from diverse traditions—sacred, secular, ancestral and subcultural— the works in this exhibition seek to expand conceptions of ritual, transcendence, and the limits of familiar forms of transmission.
