Mirror-view: Artists by Artists
Drawn largely from the Tweed Regional Gallery collection, Mirror-view: Artists by Artists presents a selection of portraits, focussing on artists as both the subject and portraitist. Spanning photography, painting, works on paper and ceramics, the exhibition shares insights of artists as sitters, captured through the mirrored lens of a fellow artist or self-portrait.
Includes collection works by Ken Done, Julie Fragar, Ben Quilty, Wendy Sharpe, Greg Weight, Monica Rohan and more, along with commissioned portraits by Jo-Anne Driessens of First Nations artists featured in the Gallery’s collection. A Tweed Regional Gallery initiative.
