Little Gallery Emerging Artist Program
The Little Gallery Emerging Artist Program supports emerging and early career Tasmanian artists who demonstrate a strong vision in their practice. The program is named in honour of Jean Thomas, who set up the first public gallery on the north-west coast in 1966 and named it The Little Gallery. Jean Thomas’ vision was to create as a centre for community arts and activities that promoted the work of emerging and established Tasmanian artists alongside national and international artists.
