Inner Currents: Abstraction and the Unseen Self

Inner Currents explores how the processes of abstract art serve as a conceptual tool for artists to engage in self-discovery and reflect on lived experiences. Through abstraction, artists transcend literal representation, delving into the emotional and psychological complexities that shape their identity and perception of the world. Abstract art, with its open ended forms and nonrepresentational gestures, reflects the inner landscapes of the artists, offering a visual dialogue on anxiety, freedom, and belonging.  Opening 28 August, 6pm–8pm.
