In Profile: Madison Baird

Madison Baird’s practice encompasses a range of bush landscapes, still life and figurative works. Exploring human relationships and the emotional reprieve found in nature. Over the past few months spending time painting in the blue mountains (Dharug and Gundungarra land) Baird was inspired by the vibrant colours of the land shifting from winter to spring, watching the bush in a constant state of flux, and noticing the abundance of life that comes out both night and day.
