“How do you like them apples? is a body of work that looks at apples in various incarnations. This series of work continues my interest in the intersection of fine art and the commercial arts, which is partly due to my dual occupations, one as an artist and lecturer, the other as a worker in a fruit and veg distributor. The Apple has significant historical importance to the region as well as a broader place in many cultural narratives.
