Hiroshi Sugimoto – Time Machine

Renowned for creating some of the most recognisable images of our time, Hiroshi Sugimoto’s major survey opens at the MCA after critically acclaimed presentations at the Hayward Gallery, London and UCCA Center for Contemporary Art, Beijing.

Featuring key works from all Sugimoto’s major photographic series, Time Machine highlights Sugimoto’s philosophical yet playful inquiry into our understanding of time and memory, and photography’s ability to both document and invent over five decades of practice.

Organised by the Hayward Gallery, London in association with the MCA and supported by the NSW Government through its tourism and major events agency Destination NSW.
