Feathered: Birds in Myth and Memory

Birds, with their graceful forms and enigmatic behaviours, have long been entwined with human myth and memory as symbols of remembrance and transformation. Their fleeting presence – the hush of wings, the echo of birdsong and the arc of migration – mirror the way memories drift between clarity and obscurity, shaping our sense of time loss and connection. Works featured include del Kathryn Barton, Brett Whitely, Arthur Boyd and Jeffrey Smart. This special exhibition is presented in partnership with the Art Gallery of New South Wales, with the generous support of TLE Electricals and the Friends of the Manning Regional Art Gallery.
