The historic Curlew artists’ camp at Sirius Cove was the base for significant Australian painters such as Tom Roberts and Arthur Streeton, who helped foster a new ‘Australian style’. The exhibition features paintings from the period, as well as newly commissioned artworks by artists (Thea Anamara Perkins, Fiona Lowry, Abdul Abdullah, Marikit Santiago and more) responding to the site, its artistic heritage and the paintings made there.
