Blak Douglas: The Halfway Line

The Halfway Line is a landmark exhibition showcasing the expansive career of First Nations artist Blak Douglas. From early explorations in graphic art to award-winning portraiture, Douglas has consistently highlighted the histories and experiences of Aboriginal Australians, using art as a tool for social change. This exhibition reflects on Douglas’ artistic journey and lasting impact.

Featuring key works from major institutions and new commissions, The Halfway Line is the most extensive presentation of his work, proudly staged in Western Sydney. Supported by Penrith City Council, Penrith Performing & Visual Arts, the NSW Government through Create NSW, and TLE Electricals.
