Beanie Festival: Sport Headgear

This year marks the 29th anniversary celebrations of the famous Beanie Festival in Mparntwe/ Alice Springs. From 100 beanies and a band of friends in 1997, to 8000 beanies and thousands of beanie lovers from around the world! This year’s Beanie Festival exhibition, Sport Headgear, showcases a wild array of fantastic beanies made from an array of textiles by makers from across Australia and the world.
