Community Art Show
After Walter Hopps
In their final thematic for 2025, Platform Arts will hand over their gallery in an open-call exhibition and art sale titled After Walter Hopps. This annual exhibition is inspired by Walter Hopps’ 36 Hours project held at MOTA (Museum of Temporary Art), Washington, USA, in 1978. A renowned non-conformist, maverick curator, and transcender of boundaries, Walter Hopps’ seminal project was a celebration of artists from all ages and stages of career. As in previous years, After Walter Hopps will culminate in a vibrant community closing party. Located in the Geelong Arts Precinct, Platform Arts is supported by the City of Greater Geelong, Creative Australia, and the Victorian Government through Creative Victoria.
