HR Hyatt-Johnston has a Masters in Visual Arts from Sydney College of the Arts and has exhibited nationally and internationally. She also collaborates with Jane Polkinghorne as The Twilight Girls. Her writing has appeared in Broadsheet, catalogue essays and the World Lighthouse Society. She reads too much science fiction, spends too much time looking at the stars, loves remote places (hence her interest in lighthouses) and really likes the extremes of winter weather.
