Cherine Fahd is Associate Professor of Visual Communication at the University of Technology Sydney. Cherine is an artist working with photography and video performance. She writes and has published widely on photography in visual art, visual culture, visual communication, news and social media. Cherine is currently a research fellow and photographer in residence at the Sydney Social Sciences and Humanities Advanced Research Centre (SSSHARC) at the University of Sydney and the Co-Chair of Powerhouse Photography at the Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences (MAAS).
