Other Suns is an ode to an idea of the future that has fallen into the past, a fond rear-ward glance at the aesthetics and cultural detritus of an age that was obsessed with, and optimistic about, outer space and frontiers.

Like many exhibitions, Telaesthesia began with conversation. “The five artists in this exhibition all shared a studio space for several years until 2012 and we would sit around our kitchen table and talk about what it meant to be painting in a post-digital and post-internet world,” says curator and artist Tony Lloyd.
Dug and Digging With is the result of a 12-month collaboration between emerging curators Katie Barber and Stan Mahoney and seven visual artists, writers and theorists whose practices are process-based and research-driven.
