My Paintings Speak for Me

South Australian artist Kunyi June Anne McInerney draws upon her childhood to reflect on her own dispossession, revealing an often-invisible part of Australian history. Her vibrant use of colour, facial expression, and depiction of landscape document the memories of her time spent at Oodnadatta mission as a young child during the 1950s. This is a Country Arts SA Touring exhibition.
