After Fairweather

Ian Fairweather is acknowledged as one of the greatest artists to have worked in Australia during the twentieth century.

After Fairweather engages with aspects of the artist’s extraordinary life, including his infamous 1952 raft voyage from Darwin to Indonesia; and his subsequent years on Bribie Island, where he painted his most important works. Exhibition curated by Hamish Sawyer.
