The Empathy Project
Mary-Rose Riley and students from Wodonga West Primary School.
The Empathy Project will see a small group of young students work with and produce artworks under the creative guidance of local artist, Mary-Rose Riley. They will present a body of artwork that will focus on empathy, understanding emotions and building healthy relationships.
This exhibition will form part of the City of Wodonga’s involvement in the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Violence. This global campaign seeks to raise awareness about violence against women and its impact on women’s physical, psychological, social and spiritual wellbeing. The Empathy Project considers issues with a specific focus on prevention and building and maintaining long-term healthy relationships.
Opening Friday, 1 December, 5.30pm.
