Process Blue, Nature Trips, Corduroy, Pine Shelving
A half-way house and alternative school once located near Bundoora Homestead, ‘Kingsbury’ forms the backdrop to Rozalind Drummond’s exhibition. In the 1970s, Kingsbury embraced an experimental culture of encounter sessions, consciousness raising, group discussions, readings and performance. Rozalind mines this complex history through digital photography, film and found imagery. The work suggests a series of fabricated scenarios, depicting trans-historical meetings, associations and plausible narratives about people that once occupied Kingsbury.
