Grasp the Nettle

Investigating expanded notions of self-portraiture, Grasp the Nettle uses experimental and naēve approaches to natural materials to negotiate a relationship between permanence and impermanence. The subtleties of flowers and natural imagery, through scent and symbolism, are used to encourage a quiet personal engagement with mortality.
